Tummy tuck with vaser liposuction of abdomen, waist and flanks.
The patient is a 38 year-old woman, 5’3”, 138 lbs., one child, who wanted a mommy makeover which in her case included treatment for asymmetrical breasts, and a breast lift, as well as a tummy tuck with vaser-assisted liposuction of the abdomen, waist and flanks. She chose the Ideal structured saline implant because she did not want to have to get MRI imaging studies for follow-up to check for implant rupture. With Ideal implants, you can tell if your implants are deflating by looking in the mirror. She needed a breast lift and because the amount of drooping was mild, this could be done with a periareolar mastopexy only, without a vertical scar. She had a drainless tummy tuck. By re-attaching the abdominal flap to the abdominal wall with progressive-tension and quilting sutures, there is no space for fluid to accumulate and no drains are needed.
